Brookdale's Askew Named GSAC DIII Mens Basketball Player Of The Week

Lincroft, NJ - Sophomore center Darnell Askew swished 93 points on the week as the Jersey Blues went undefeated, grabbing three Region 19 wins against the Passaic Panthers, 104-63, Ocean Vikings, 109-84 and Luzerne, 112-63.

Askew totaled 43 rebounds, 12 blocked shots, nine assists and four steals. Askew's averages for the week are an impressive 31 points/game, 15 rebounds/game, and four blocks/game. Brookdale continues their run with an overall record of 23-0 on the season.
