Men's Basketball Grounds The Sussex CCC Skylanders 88-78

Newton, NJ - Brookdale men's basketball tallied their 6th win to remain undefeated after beating the Sussex County Community College Skylanders, 88-78, in a GSAC contest.

The Skylanders were on the Jersey Blues' heels for predominantly the entire game, and tied it up 74-74 late in the second half. The Blues managed to pull away and seal the win with the help of four double-digit scorers. The two top scorers were sophomore guard, Manny Bell, scoring 24 points, and sophomore forward/center, Darnell Askew, with 20. Cruising to his 7th double-double of the season, was freshman forward, Savon Myers, with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Sophomore point guard, Adam Kukaj, added 18 points with five assists, and freshman guard/forward, Regan Burke, contributed four timely steals in the win.

Brookdale (6-0) will host the Camden County College Cougars (5-3) on Saturday, December 2nd, at 2:00pm in the Robert J. Collins Arena.
