Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team erupted from tip off with an initial 12-0 lead, which set the tone for the remainder of the game against the Union College Owls.. The Blues finished the first half with a 17 point lead, but then ballooned the score by 40 in mid second half at one point, ending the game, 94-59.

Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team erupted from tip off with an initial 12-0 lead which set the tone for the remainder of the game against the Union College Owls. The Blues finished the first half with a 17 point lead, but then ballooned the score by 40 in mid second half at one point, ending the game, 94-59.
All of the Jersey Blues got playing time, but leading the way was sophomore point guard, Kevin Mateo, with 22 points, three assists, and three steals. Also in double figures was sophomore forward, Josiah Basket, with 19, and freshman guard, Nick Williams, adding 16 points and nine rebounds. Totaling nine points, four assists, and two steals was sophomore point guard, Andre Wells.
The 18-3 Jersey Blues will travel to run down the Region XIX #2 ranked, Roadrunners of Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester (17-5), on Saturday, February 4th, at 2:00pm.
