Five Notch Double Figures As Jersey Blues Run Down The Roadrunners, 89-75

Lincroft, NJ - Freshman guard, Nick Williams, tallied a game-high 19 points to lead the Brookdale Community College Jersey Blues men's basketball team to a 89-75 victory over the Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester Roadrunners in a GSAC matchup.

Four other Jersey Blues chalked up double figures in scoring for the Blues as sophomore point guard, Kevin Mateo, netted 17 points and six assists, with freshman forward, Darnell Askew, also pumping in 17 points. Sophomore forward, Josiah Basket, produced 14 points, and sophomore point guard, Andre Wells, pulled a double-double of 10 points and 10 assists. Grabbing a monster 14 rebounds, his 97th of the season, was sophomore forward, Niles Halliburton. 

Brookdale returns to action on Tuesday, January 31st, as they travel to visit the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks for a 6:00pm tip-off.
