Brookdale Basketball Beats Dog-Tired Bergen Bulldogs, 89-57

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale's quick leads, wide point spreads, and a deep bench have been major factors for the men's basketball wins. The Jersey Blues have beat their last five opponents by no less than 23 points, and the Bergen Community College Bulldogs were no different. The Blues earned their 5th win in a row by 32 points, with an 89-57 final.

Brookdale took advantage of the 52-24 half time score as every Jersey Blue played and scored. The points were well distributed for the Blues with sophomore point guard, Kevin Mateo, leading all scores with 16 points and five assists. Also scoring in double figures was sophomore guard, Devin Strickland, with 12 points, and freshman forward, Nick Williams, had 10.

The Jersey Blues (5-0) travel to Paterson, NJ, to face the Passaic County College Panthers on Thursday, November 17th, at 7:00pm.
