Blues Men Chase Camden Cougars Out Of The Collins Arena, 78-53
Lincroft, NJ - With a game-opening dunk by freshman guard, Nick Williams, the Jersey Blues men's basketball team was on a path of momentum to chase the Camden County College Cougars out of the Collins Arena from the start. Brookdale gained their 4th win in a row, 2nd in the conference, with a 78-53 final score.
Lincroft, NJ - With a game-opening dunk by freshman guard, Nick Williams, the Jersey Blues men's basketball team was on a path of momentum to chase the Camden County College Cougars right out of the Collins Arena from the start. Brookdale gained their 4th win in a row, 2nd in the conference, with a 78-53 final score.
In back-to-back games, Brookdale distributed time to the entire bench, and all have produced points on the board. Sophomore point guard, Kevin Mateo, topped the scoring for the Blues with 17 points, adding five assists and three steals. In addition to his stage-setting dunk, freshman guard, Nick Williams, finished with 16 points, and freshman point guard, Kareem Irby, hit for a career-high 12 points. Freshman forward, Darnell Askew, grabbed 10 rebounds, and sophomore point guard, Andre Wells, added seven assists respectively.
Brookdale (4-0) will remain in the Robert J. Collins Arena to confront the Bergen Community College Bulldogs on Tuesday, November 15th, at 7:00pm.
