Brookdale Wins As Hawkins Drops Season High 23 Points

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale men's basketball defeated the Falcons of Atlantic Cape Community College, 69-66 in the Robert J. Collins Arena Tuesday night. The Jersey Blues are on a 7-0 winning streak with a 16-7 overall record.

Four of the Jersey Blues crew scored in double digits, with lead scorer and freshman forward, Tyler Hawkins (Monmouth Regional High School), connecting for 23 points on the night. Not far behind, was sophomore forward, Jahmere Calhoun ( Brick Memorial High School), with 20 points. Both freshmen guards, Jordan Smith (Raritan High School), and Randi Sutton (Ft. Lee High School), tallied 13 points each for the win as well.

Brookdale's next home game will be on Saturday, February 2nd, vs the Rockland Community College Hawks @ 12:00pm.
