The Schenectady Royals Bow To The Brookdale Blues With A 62-49 Win

Schenectady, NY - Brookdale was in royal spirits as they took another win from Schenectady County Community College, 62-49. The Blues are currently on a 6-0 winning streak, bringing their record to a strong 15-7.

With a sluggish start in the first half and a seesaw game with the lead changing hands several times, the Blues managed to clinch the win in the last five minutes of play. Freshman forward, Tyler Hawkins (Monmouth Regional High School/Tinton Falls), led all scores with 17, adding six rebounds and four assists. Raritan High School's, Jordan Smith chipped in  11 points, eight rebounds and four assists as well. Freshman guard, Randi Sutton (Ft. Lee High School) added 13 points and four steals.

Brookdale will be home on Tuesday, January 29th, @ 7pm to face the Buccaneers of Atlantic Cape Community College.
