Jersey Blues Men Pull Out Win On The Road At Dutchess Community College
Poughkeepsie, NY - Brookdale men's basketball took a win from the Dutchess Community College Falcons after a back and forth battle throughout the game. The Blues took a six point lead at the half, managed a 14 point lead at one point, but then allowed the Falcons back in the game. Dutchess earned a one point lead with six minutes remaining in the game until the Blues rallied for the 74-70 win.

Several Blues scored in double digits for the win including freshman guard, Jordan Smith, who led with 22 points. Freshman guard, Randi Sutton, had a packed game with 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists and four steals. Following Sutton, sophomore guard, Stefan Forbes hit for 11 points, while sophomore forward Terra Gatling pulled down a hefty 14 rebounds for the win.
Brookdale will remain in New York for the remainder of the weekend, heading up to face the Royals of Schenectady County Community College on Sunday, January 27th. The Blues who are currently 14-7, will be looking for a sixth win run since the start of the post break season.
