Paramus, NJ - Freshman guard Lamar Johnson lit up the scoreboard for the Jersey Blues with 34 points as the team topped the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 109-70.
Brookdale took control of the game from tip-off and went into halftime with a 60-36 lead over Bergen. Sophomore forwards Jahmere Calhoun and Terra Gatling each recorded a double-double in the conference match-up. Calhoun notched 18 points and 10 rebounds while Gatling posted 14 points and 13 rebounds. Freshman Randi Sutton rounded out the offensive stats with 13 points and six assists.
With the road win, the team improves to 3-1 and will return home to take on the Spartans of Northampton Community College on Thursday, November, 29th at 7:00pm.
