Jersey Blues Men Bully the Bergen Bulldogs By Winning 99-70
Lincroft, NJ - It was a game of unselfish play and great team work for the Jersey Blues last night against Bergen Community College. The Blues led at the half, 51-29, then allowed the Bulldogs to get back in the game, cutting the score to only 13. Brookdale managed to pull together quick, spreading the points out among their team to win, 99-70.

The Blues led at the half, 51-29, then allowed the Bulldogs to get back in the game, cutting the score to only 13. Brookdale managed to pull together quick, spreading the points out among their team, and won, 99-70.
Brookdale had six players put up double figures and then some. Sophomore forward, Matthew Ringel, led the scoring with 20 points, dominated down low with six blocked shots, and eight rebounds. Sophomore guard, Jaimik Moore, tossed in a respectable 19 points, while Matawan's, Grant Goode, followed up with 14 points. Also in the mix was Freshman guard, Kenneth LaRocca, who collected 13 points, nine rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Season high scoring came from Freshman guard, Anthony McNeil (Asbury High School), who had 13 points, as Freshman point guard, Tarique Holmes, made his first debut in the Robert J. Collins Arena, with 11 points, five assists, and four steals.
Brookdale continues their undefeated streak with a current record of 14-0, and will head to Union County College next on Saturday, January 13th, for a 12PM start.
