Rochester, MN- The Brookdale men's basketball team fell to the Storm of Davidson County Community College, 107-97 and finished 8th in the NJCAA national championship tournament.
The Jersey Blues led at the half, 57-50 and allowed the Storm to go on a 10-0 scoring run with 11 minutes remaining in the game and Brookdale could not fight its way back.
Freshman shooting guard Jordan Hernandez sparked the Blues offense with 30 points. Sophomore center Jordan Little recorded his last double-double as a Jersey Blue with 28 points and 11 rebounds while sophomore shooting guard James Wright added 12 points.
The team caps the 2016-2017 season with an overall record of 24-11.
