Men's Basketball Defeats Middlesex 104-65 For Regular Season Sweep Of Blue Colts

Edison, NJ- The Brookdale men's basketball team defeated Middlesex County College, 104-65 to sweep the Blue Colts in regular season play. Freshman forward Terra Gatling let the way offensively with 17 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocks.

The Jersey Blues jumped out in the first half to a 58-32 lead and coasted through, keeping at least a 20-point advantage until the final whistle.

Five other Brookdale players knocked down double-digits in the conference match-up. Sophomore center Jordan Little had 14 points and nine rebounds, freshman forward Kyle Bradshaw collected 12 points, freshman guard Jordan Hernandez added 13, sophomore forward Sky Harris notched 11 and freshman guard Zachary Olukanni tallied 10.

The team improves their overall record to 21-8, 16-4 in conference play. Brookdale will return to action in the Region XIX tournament. Opponent, date and time are TBD.
