Men's Basketball Downs Rowan Roadrunners, 65-54

Sewell, NJ- The Brookdale men's basketball team downed the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 65-54. The Blues were led in scoring by sophomore shooting guard James Wright with 18 points.

Brookdale was up by four points at the half and let the Roadrunners back in the game a couple of times before stretching out the score for the win.

Sophomore forward Sky Harris scored 11 points in the second half while sophomore point guard Kerry Kirkwood recorded a double-double, knocking down 10 points and dishing 10 assists. Freshman forward Terra Gatling also had a big game, grabbing 11 rebounds, collecting four assists and four steals and blocking two shots.

The team improves their overall record to 13-6 and will return to action on the road in Maryland to face Howard Community College and Montgomery-Rockville College on Friday, January 27th and Sunday, January 29th.
