Men's Basketball Slides Past Union County College In Overtime
Cranford, NJ- The Brookdale men's basketball team defeated the Owls of Union County College, 93-89 in overtime. Sophomore guard Isaiah Johnson tallied 31 points, swishing five out of nine three-pointers. Freshman guard Terrel Cox dropped 20 points and drained four out of five three point shots.

Sophomore guard Tevon Bennett led the Blues from the foul line, sinking nine out of 12 free throws. Sophomore center Norbert Allen posted eight points, five blocked shots and 10 rebounds while freshman center Brian Crosby added seven points and three blocks. The Jersey Blues totaled a team-high 12 steals.
After a 79-79 tie at the buzzer, the Blues outscored the Owls, 14-10 in overtime to bring home their seventh win of the season, their fourth straight.
The team returns to action on Friday, January 9th at Harrisburg Area Community College.
