Men's Basketball Suffers Tough Loss In Season Opener
Bel Air, MD- The Brookdale men's basketball team suffered a tough loss to the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 54-49. Sophomore center Norbert Allen double-doubled, scoring 10 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Sophomore guard Tevon Bennett also tallied 10 points for the Jersey Blues.

Bel Air, MD- The Brookdale men's basketball team suffered a tough loss to the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 54-49. Sophomore center Norbert Allen double-doubled, scoring 10 points and grabbing 16 rebounds. Sophomore guard Tevon Bennett also tallied 10 points for the Jersey Blues.
With two-minutes and eleven seconds left on the clock, the Blues were within four points to tying the game. The Fighting Owls drained a big basket with less than a minute to go and Brookdale could not bounce back.
The team returns to action on Friday, November 14th at Garrett College in Maryland.
