Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Community College Cheer Team has done a fantastic job for the Jersey Blues this year and four sophomores in particular were paid tribute to on Sophomore Night.

Sadly, I knew little about the sport or about these amazing athletes who support our teams and entertain audiences at the games. I’m guessing that if I didn’t know about them, maybe other students didn’t and so the next installment of “How did I not know that?” was born.
Lincroft, NJ - Head Cheerleading Coach, Katrina Thornton, released a quote for the Jersey Blues Motivation Monday series. "Those with a higher skill set are our teachers, those with a lesser skill set are the students, those in the middle are our foundation. Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues cheer / dance squad participated in the Involvement Fair hosted by Student Life & Activities on Tuesday, September 10th. The team spread Brookdale cheer and rallied students to turn the key for success as they embark on their collegiate journey.
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues cheer / dance squad supported Pink Zone Night on Tuesday, February 5th by wearing pink tutus and bows while performing during timeouts and at halftime.
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues cheer/dance team spent a practice night spreading holiday cheer as a family with good food, lip-sync contest, secret santa, music and many laughs.
Shrewsbury, NJ - On Saturday, December 22, 2018 members of the Brookdale cheer team hosted a holiday party for children in Shrewsbury Township.
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale cheer / dance team kicked-off the 2018-19 basketball season with a stellar halftime performance. The Jersey Blues rallied around the men's and women's basketball programs and supported each team as they collected wins against the Spartans of Northampton Community College.
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale cheer / dance/ tumbling team tryouts will be held in the Collins Arena on Thursday, September 6th and Friday, September 7th.
Shrewsbury Township, NJ- The Brookdale cheer/dance team along with their coach hosted an Easter Egg Hunt in Shrewsbury Township. This is one of many community service projects the team participated in this season. The community was excited to have the team members dress the part and bring the fun to the children. They participated in crafts with the children, helped during the hunt and served sweets at the end of the day.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale cheer / dance/ tumbling team tryouts will be held in the Collins Arena on Thursday, September 21st and Friday, September 22nd.
Philadelphia, PA- The Jersey Blues cheer / dance squad performed at the 76ers game on Friday, January 20th. The team put together a solid performance for the NBA match-up against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Lincroft, NJ- Tryouts for the Jersey Blues Co-ed Cheer/Dance/Tumbling team will begin on Thursday, September 15th. Any student interested in trying out must have a valid physical form completed by their doctor.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale cheer/dance team supported the 21st Annual Just Us Girls 5K walk/run. Just Us Girls is the only non-profit organization that directly advocates for women in Monmouth and Ocean County, who have been traumatized by breast cancer.
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale Community College cheerleading team will be holding tryouts on Friday, September 18th from 6:00pm – 8:00pm and Saturday, September 19th from 9:00am-12:00pm in the BREC gym.
Lincroft, NJ- The cheerleading team cheered on the men's basketball team in last nights match-up against Union County College. The team also supported SAAC's Pink Zone - Play 4Kay Night by wearing pink.
