Brookdale Community College's Richard Kernan Earns Golden Glove Award
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College's, Richard Kernan, earned the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NJCAA DIII Golden Glove Award.
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale Community College's, Richard Kernan, earned the 2025 ABCA/Rawlings NJCAA DIII Golden Glove Award.
Following a tremendous year, Kernan, a sophomore this past season, received it for his play at first base. Brookdale made its first NJCAA DIII tournament since 2007 this year, with Kernan collecting a .993 fielding percentage and only committing two errors in 45 games. Kernan also hit .324 with 43 runs scored, 44 hits, 11 doubles, five home runs and 37 RBI's for a team that finished with a record of 41-11 overall.
