Brookdale Baseball Mercy DII Mercer; Kernan Blasts Two Homers
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball was on a constant hitting spree to mercy the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings, 22-11. The Jersey Blues produced runs in every inning, 11 runs just in the second.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball was on a constant hitting spree to mercy the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings, 22-11. The Jersey Blues produced runs in every inning, 11 runs just in the second.
Sophomore, Richard Barton, won it on the mound in 3.1 innings with five strikeouts to improve his record to 2-0. Sophomore first baseman, Richard Kernan, blasted two home runs in his 3-for-5 at bats for five huge RBI's.
Freshman shortstop, Justin Lopez, batted 3-for-5 for three RBI's and classmate center fielder, Declan Sheehan, went 1-for-2 with a double for three RBI's also. Sophomores, Shane Andrus and Jacob Ramirez, added two RBI's a piece. Noteably, sophomore third baseman, Junior Nunez, hit four doubles in his 4-for-4 at bats.
