Brookdale Wins First Game Of Ocean Vikings Series
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball won their first game of three against the Ocean County College Vikings, 12-9, in conference play.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball won their first game of three against the Ocean County College Vikings, 12-9, in conference play.
Sophomore second baseman, Anthony Martino, had a monstrous day at the plate, hitting 2-for-4 with a four bagger and a triple for three RBI's to lead the Blues. The bat of freshman center fielder, Declan Sheehan, never cooled down from the previous day as he crushed a triple for three RBI's and freshman infielder, Christopher Clark, went 2-for-3 with a double for two RBI's in the win. On the rubber, freshman left-handed pitcher, Anthony Sodano, was the winner in .01 innings with freshman, Luke Roccesano, earning his second save on the season in 1.0 innings.
Brookdale, 30-8, will host the Ocean County Vikings again for the remainder of their three-game series on Saturday, April 26th, beginning at 1:00pm.
