Jersey Blues Baseball Clinches Series Against Bergen
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball secured back-to-back wins to clinch their three-game series against the Bergen Community College Bulldogs with scores of 11-1, 15-7.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball secured back-to-back wins to clinch their three-game series against the Bergen Community College Bulldogs with scores of 11-1, 15-7.
Sophomore catcher, Shane Andrus, cranked out a triple and a double to total four RBI's in the 11-1 game-one win. Freshman center fielder, Declan Sheehan, deposited two RBI's off of his 2-for-3 hits with a triple as freshman right-fielder, Casey Gardiner, smoked a homer and a double for an RBI. Sophomore, Tyler Mendez (2-1), won it on the mound in 4.0 innings after seven strikeouts.
In game-two, Shane Andrus, produced another three RBI's (10 total in the series) from his 2-for-2 at bats with a double and freshman first baseman, Gary John Perone, shattered a three-run double. Batting 3-for-3 for two-RBI's was Declan Sheehan as freshman left fielder, Anthony Pizzuti, and freshman second baseman, Christopher Clark, gifted two RBI's a piece. Freshman pitcher, Cole Armond (2-1) earned the win in 2.0 innings.
Brookdale (23-4) will be back in action on Wednesday, April 9th, at 3:00pm, as they visit the Mercer County Community College Vikings.
