Lincroft, NJ - Despite the tough cold and windy weather, the Jersey Blues came out hot with two crushing wins over the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes, 25-6, and 18-13.

Lincroft, NJ - Despite the tough cold and windy weather, the Jersey Blues came out hot with two crushing wins over the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes, 25-6 and 18-13.
Sophomore pitcher, Christian Simonsen, took to the mound for the win in 4.1 inninings with four strikeouts to improve his record to 2-0. In the batters box, it was sophomore catcher, Shane Andrus, and freshman second baseman, Christopher Clark, with four RBI's a piece, Andrus hitting his fourth homer of the season and Clark hitting 3-for-4. Freshman shortstop, Justin Lopez, hit 2-for-4 while adding his second homer of the season for two RBI's while freshman third baseman, Anthony Pizzuti, and freshman, Jacob Ramirez, affixed two RBI's each.
Game-two introduced freshman pitcher, Dylan Swanson, for his first win in two innings to help push the Blues to their 10-0 record. Shortstop, Anthony Pizzuti, ripped two doubles for five RBI's, his 29th on the season so far, and sophomore DH, Malik Little Jr. accomplished his mission by hitting 3-for-4 with a double for four RBI's. Additionally, freshman outfielder, Declan Sheehan, posted three RBI's in his 2-for-3 at bats for the win.
The 10-0 Jersey Blues will travel to Blackwood, NJ, to meet up with the Camden County Community College Cougars on Tuesday, March 11th with a 3:30pm start.
