Vineland, NJ - Brookdale baseball downed the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes in a 14-7 conference match-up to improve their record to 8-0.
Leading the Blues at the plate was freshman right fielder, Casey Gardiner, who batted 4-for-4 with a home run and two doubles for five massive RBI's. Freshman center fielder, Declan Sheehan, went 3-for-5 including a double to help the Blues with three RBI's and sophomore third baseman, Junior Nunez, clubbed a double for two RBIs in the win. Pitching on the mound for the win in six innings with two strikeouts was sophomore Tyler Spencer (3-0).
Brookdale will continue their series with the Dukes on their home field in a double-header on Saturday, March 8th, beginning at 12:00pm.
