Blues Baseball Trap The Rockland Hawks, 19-12
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Blues baseball squad improved their record to 3-0 following a 19-12 win over the Rockland Community College Hawks.The Hawks were off to a flying start in the first inning outscoring the Blues 3-1, but the Brookdale bats were consistent thereafter to trap the Hawks for the win.

Blasting two homers for five pivotal RBI's was freshman center fielder, Anthony Pizzuti, as freshman shortstop, Justin Lopez, added another three RBI's off of his dinger. Sophomore first baseman, Richard Kernan, assisted with another home run and a double and sophomore catcher, Shane Andrus, hit a triple and a double for an RBI with his 3-for-4 at bats.
Brookdale begins their three game series against the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks on the road on Friday, February 28th, at 3:30pm.
