Sewell, NJ - Brookdale baseball fell short in the NJCAA North Atlantic District Semifinals, 7-5, to the #1 seeded RCSJ-Gloucester. The Blues were leading the game 5-4 until the bottom of the 8th when the Roadrunners when on a hitting spree, matching their three runs in the 7th to pull ahead, 7-5, and Brookdale couldn't answer.

Sewell, NJ - Brookdale baseball fell short in the NJCAA North Atlantic District Semifinals, 7-5, to the #1 seeded RCSJ-Gloucester. The Blues were leading the game, 5-4, until the bottom of the 8th when the Roadrunners when on a hitting spree, matching their three runs in the 7th to pull ahead 7-5, and Brookdale couldn't answer.
Both freshman, center fielder, Devon Smith and DH Kensil Flores, each poked homers in the battle, while freshman left fielder, Ryan Schmidt, and sophomore shortstop, Hunter Serrano, each added RBI hits in the tough loss.
Brookdale (44-9-1) is awaiting an at-large bid for the NJCAA DIII World Series, which will take place from May 25th - 30th, in Auburn, NY.
