Brookdale Baseball Pushes Past The Mercer Vikings In 13-11 Win
West Windsor, NJ - The Brookdale baseball team was able to push past the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings and collect a nice 13-11 win as they draw closer to the end of the regular season.

West Windsor, NJ - The Brookdale baseball team was able to push past the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings and collect a nice 13-11 win as they draw closer to the end of the regular season.
GSAC Player of the Week last week, sophomore right fielder, Nick LoVarco, remained consistent in his numbers by hitting 4-for-4 for four RBI's including a home run and a triple. To add to his accolades, LoVarco, hit his 17th home run of the year which ties, Keith Weinkofsky, who set the single season record in 2009 for Brookdale.
Sophomore first baseman, Rocko Brzezniak, contributed two hits for three RBI's, and freshman left fielder, Ryan Schmidt, batted 2-for-3 with a triple for two RBI's. Freshman winning pitcher, John Goodes (3-1) got the win on the mound for Brookdale.
Brookdale will play the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars at home on Friday, May 3rd, beginning at 3:30pm.
