Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball suffered back-to back losses to Region leader, RCSJ-Gloucester, 20-10, 16-6, keeping the Blues at third in the standings.
Sophomore right fielder, Nick LoVarco, continued his batting streak from Fridays match-up with a home run and four RBI's from his 2-for-4 at bats. Freshman catcher, Shane Andrus, went 2-for-4 with a double for three RBI's, freshman third baseman, Anthony Martino, added a two-run homer, and sophomore pitcher, Ryan Cole, attached two RBI's in game-one.
Sophomore first baseman, Rocko Brzezniak, had a rock solid game with two home runs in his 3-for-4 at bats for four huge RBI's, and DH Ryan Cole came through in game-two with an RBI single.
The Blues are currently 35-7-1 and will travel to West Windsor, NJ, to play the DII Mercer County Community College Vikings on Wednesday, May 1st, at 2:00pm.
