Brookdale Quiets The Bergen Bulldogs in Double Wins
Lincroft, NJ - The Bergen Community College Bulldogs were quieted after Brookdale swept them in their double header, 15-0, and 20-5.

Lincroft, NJ - The Bergen Community College Bulldogs were quieted after Brookdale swept them in their double header, 15-0, and 20-5.
Sophomore, Ryan Cole (5-1), was fantastic on the mound for 7.0 innings with 11 strikeouts for the first game win. Sophomore first baseman, Rocko Brzezniak, crushed 4-for-5 at bats for four RBI's, and Cole performed well at the plate as well, hitting 1-for-3 with a double to add three RBI's.
In the 20-5 game-two win, freshman, Christian Krause (3-1), took care of business on the hill for 5.0 innings, striking out six for the win. Sophomore DH, Dan Cowles, led in RBI's with five off of his three-run homer in 2-for-3 at bats, while sophomore right fielder, Nick LoVarco, toasted with another homer for four RBI's in his 2-for-4 at bats. Brzezniak combined for his 7th RBI of the day after hitting 3-for-3 with three doubles.
Brookdale is 23-4 and will host another double-header on Sunday, April 7th, against the Delaware County Community College Phantoms, beginning at 12:00pm.
