Paramus, NJ - Brookdale baseball downed the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College in their single nine-inning game to start their three-game series, 15-10.
Freshman pitcher, Jake Burt, grabbed the win in 5.0 innings with five strikeouts. Sophomore third baseman, Rocko Brzezniak, and sophomore first baseman, Ryan Cole each contributed five RBI's a piece. Brzezniak went 3-for-5, including a homer and two doubles, while Cole had a home run as well. Freshman left fielder, Ryan Schmidt, had two hits for three RBI's in the win.
Brookdale (21-4) will host the Bulldogs for the double-header on Saturday, April 6th, with a 12:00pm start.
