Northampton Posts Two Wins Over Brookdale In Double-Header
Lincroft, NJ - Following a big 7-3 win on the road against Northampton, the Spartans came back with a vengeance with two wins over Brookdale on MacLaughlin field with scores of 14-2 and 11-5.

Lincroft, NJ - Following a big 7-3 win on the road against Northampton, the Spartans came back with a vengeance with two wins over Brookdale on MacLaughlin field with scores of 14-2 and 11-5.
Sophomore pitcher, Ryan Cole, produced the only two RBI's for the Blues in his 1-for-3 chances in the box, including a double. The other two hits of the day came from sophomore third baseman, Rocko Brzezniak (1-3), and sophomore second baseman, Nick Colbert, who hit 1-2 in the 14-2 loss.
Colbert added on two more hits(2-3) for two RBI's in game-two as freshman center fielder, Devon Smith, and freshman DH, Shane Andrus, both batted 2-4 for an RBI a piece. Cole added a double in his 1-4 at bats, including a stolen base.
The Jersey Blues (21-4) will visit the CC Morris Titans next on Wednesday, April 3rd, for a 3:30pm start.
