Jersey Blues Steal Two Games From Ocean Vikings
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues stole two games from the Ocean County College Vikings, 11-1, and 7-0.

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues stole two games from the Ocean County College Vikings, 11-1, and 7-0.
In the 11-1 first game win, freshman, Christian Krause (2-0), faced 20 batters in his 5.0 innings pitched with five strikeouts and one earned run. Freshman left fielder, Ryan Schmidt, had a big game hitting 3-3 for three RBI's. Sophomore first baseman, Ryan Cole, punched two doubles for two RBI's in his 3-4 at bats and sophomore third baseman, Rocko Brzezniak, added another two RBI's from his 2-4 chances at the plate.
Game-two blew up in the 6th inning for the Blues when they scored five big runs, and on the defensive side, freshman Zack Szatkowski (3-0) won the game on the mound in 5.1 innings with a strikeout. Cole came through once again as he hit 3-4 for an additional two doubles and two RBI's in the book. Sophomore right fielder, Nick LoVarco, donated a double, a triple and an RBI from his 2-3 at bats.
Brookdale (20-1) is headed to Ocean County College territory to complete their three-game series on Wednesday, March 27th, at 2:00pm.
