Brookdale Baseball Splits Double-Header With Salem
Carney's Point, NJ - Brookdale baseball took their first loss of the season in game-one to split with the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, 7-6, 18-1, in conference play.

Carney's Point, NJ - Brookdale baseball took their first loss of the season in game-one to split with the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks, 7-6, 18-1, in conference play.
Freshman DH, Kensil Flores, batted 1-3, ripping a two-run double, sophomore first baseman, Ryan Cole, added an RBI with a double as well, and freshman center fielder, Devon Smith, added a sac fly RBI.
In game-two, Ryan Cole (4-0) threw for six solid innings, allowing just one earned run with 13 strikeouts. Sophomore third baseman, Rocko Brzezniak, crushed a three RBI triple, and sophomore second baseman, Nick Colbert, added a triple and two RBI's in the 15-1 win.
Brookdale (16-1) will host the third game of the series against the Mighty Oaks of Salem CC on Sunday, March 24th, at 1:30pm.
