Sewell, NJ - The RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners overpowered Brookdale in their three-game series as they took the last two games of their three-game series, 7-0, 12-2 in tough conference play.
Brookdale struggled offensively, providing just three hits in game one from sophomore center fielder, Marcus Johnson, sophomore left fielder, Christian Bauman, and freshman second baseman, Nick Colbert.
The bats came to life a bit in the second game from sophomore catcher, Darius Troche, who brought home the two sole runs after hitting hit 2-for-4. Sophomore shortstop, Joseph Lomangino, punched a triple in his 1-for-3 at bats, and sophomore center fielder, Marcus Johnson, slapped a double.
Brookdale (28-14) will host the Salem Community College Mighty Oaks at Lincroft on Thursday, May 4th, at 3:30pm.
