Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball had an explosive first inning with three-peat homers and four runs on RCSJ-Gloucester, but the Roadrunners answered right back in the 2nd inning with four runs to set the tone for the game. Big hitters on the day came from sophomore shortstop, Joseph Lomangino, going 3-for-5 including a homer and three RBI's, freshman right fielder, Nick Lovarco, added a solo home run and two RBI's, and sophomore catcher, Darius Troche, who batted 3-for-5, with a homer. The remaining crucial RBI hits came from freshman first base/pitcher, Ryan Cole, sophomore second baseman, Caleb Carter, and sophomore, Christian Bauman.
Brookdale (28-12) will travel to Sewell, NJ to continue their series with the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners on Saturday, April 29th, for a 1:30pm start.
