Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues had a tough series with the Middlesex College Blue Colts, losing their home double header, 4-2, 7-1, and falling to #4 in the region.
Freshman right fielder, Nick Lovarco, contributed the biggest hit of game one with an RBI triple, and freshman first baseman, Ryan Cole, helped with an RBI single for the only two runs scored.
In the 7-1 game two loss, Nick Lovarco, came through again with a solo homer in the first inning to fire up the Jersey Blues, but they had difficulty producing.
The Blues (24-10) hit the road to play the Suffolk Community College Sharks for a doubleheader on Sunday, April 16th, beginning at 12:00pm.
