Jersey Blues Baseball Sends The Bergen Bulldogs To Their Dog House
Paramus, NJ - In continuation of their three-game series, Brookdale swept and sent the Bergen Community College Bulldogs to their doghouse with final scores of 11-5 and 17-2.

Paramus, NJ - In continuation of their three-game series, Brookdale swept and sent the Bergen Community College Bulldogs to their doghouse with final scores of 11-5 and 17-2.
Sophomore DH, John Wade, brought home four RBI's off two doubles, and freshman center fielder, Anderson Gonzalez, pulled two RBI's from his 2-for-2 at bats including a double. Additional RBI hits came from sophomore left fielder, Marcus Johnson, freshman right fielder, Lucca Limeira, and freshman first baseman, Ryan Cole. Earning the win on the hump was sophomore, Nick Timpanelli (4-1), pitching six innings with one earned run and 12 strikeouts.
In game two of the series, sophomore catcher, Darius Troche, erupted for five RBI's including a home run, and Marcus Johnson, provided his second and third RBI on the day. Sophomore second baseman, Caleb Carter, added two hits for an RBI, and Ryan Cole had an RBI single. Undefeated sophomore pitcher, Brendan Williams, got his sixth win in six innings by striking out 12 with zero earned runs.
Brookdale is currently 23-7 and will perform at their home field again on Wednesday, April 12th, against the Bronx Community College Broncos, beginning at 3:30pm.
