Brookdale Tears It Up In Three Innings To Defeat Atlantic Cape In Seven Innings
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues went on a tear in the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings, scoring 18 runs to overpower the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers 18-7 in GSAC play. Freshman pitcher, Nick Timpanelli, got the win in four innings after striking out nine and allowing just three hits.

Freshman DH, Ryan Cole, smacked a homer and a double to drive in four RBI's as two sophomores, center fielder Christian Bauman and left fielder Marcus Johnson contributed three RBI's a piece. Bauman ripped a triple and a double, and Johnson belted three hits including two doubles. Single RBI's came from sophomore first baseman, John Wade, freshman right fielder, Nick Lovarco, and freshman second baseman, Nick Colbert.
The 14-2 Jersey Blues travel to play the Mercer County Community College Vikings on Thursday, March 23rd, for a 3:00pm start.
