Jersey Blues Lose Tough 2nd Final Four Game To #1 RCSJ - Gloucester
Sewell, NJ - The Jersey Blues fought hard until the end, but came up short in the second game of the final four Region XIX Tournament against the #1 seeded, RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners, with a 14-10 final.

Sewell, NJ - The Jersey Blues fought hard until the end, but came up short in the second game of the final four Region XIX Tournament against the #1 seeded, RCSJ - Gloucester Roadrunners, with a 14-10 final.
Freshman second baseman, Caleb Carter, went 2-4, chalking up his first homerun of the year, while collecting four huge RBI's to help the Blues. Freshman, Nicholas Papageorge, did his job as pinch hitter with his two-run homerun, and freshman shortstop, Joseph Lomangino, added to the home run club for an RBI on his 2-5 at bats.
Additional significant RBI's came from center fielder, Christian Bauman, who attached a triple (11th on the year), sophomore right fielder, Alex Ungar, batting 2-5, earning his 11th double, and freshman catcher, Darius Troche, also with a double and 2-5 in the box.
Brookdale will continue their fight in the Region XIX/North Atlantic District Championship against the #2 RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes, on Saturday, May 22nd, 11:00am, at RCSJ-Gloucester in Sewell, NJ.
