Baseball's Granato Commits To St. Thomas University

Lincroft, NJ - Jersey Blue second baseman, Matthew Granato recently committed to be a Bobcat at St. Thomas University in Miami Gardens, FL, to continue his academic and baseball career.

Granato had a tremendous year finishing 53 games total with a .346 batting average, six homeruns, 36 RBI's, 68 runs, 20 stolen bases, and a .893 fielding percentage. Adding to his outstanding stats, Granato earned first team All-Region and first team All-GSAC.

St Thomas University is a four-year institution who are members of the NAIA Division II intercollegiate sports and compete in the Sun Conference.
