Lincroft, NJ - Jersey Blues baseball tamed and harnessed the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs in their seven inning, 17-6, victory.
Freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, had dual homers, upping his total to 10 this season and knocked in seven RBI's for the Blues. Sophomore third baseman, Matthew Granato, went 3-3, including two doubles for four RBI's, and grabbed a stolen base. Freshman first baseman, John Wade, cranked a homer and a double for two RBI's, and freshman shortstop, Joseph Lomangino added two RBI's with a sac fly. Freshman winning pitcher, William Polanco (1-1), threw for five innings with three strikeouts.
Brookdale, now 29-18, begins their three-game series with the Ocean County College Vikings on Thursday, May 5th, beginning at 3:30pm.
