Vineland, NJ - Despite the Jersey Blues taking two games out of three against the Region 19, #2 ranked, RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes, the Blues continue to hold their #3 spot in the region. Brookdale split their double-header on the road against the Dukes with scores of 10-4, and 17-1.

Vineland, NJ - Despite the Jersey Blues taking two games out of three against the Region 19, #2 ranked, RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes, the Blues continue to hold their #3 spot in the region. Brookdale split their double-header on the road against the Dukes with scores of 10-4, and 17-1.
In the game-one win, Brookdale's shortstop, Joseph Lomangino, provided four RBI's from his 3-4 at bats, including two doubles. Freshman first baseman, John Wade, belted a homer for an RBI, and freshman, Ryan Lasko, earned the win on the mound in his seven innings pitched.
Game two was a challenge as the Blues took a hit, losing 17-1. John Wade went 2-3 and produced the only RBI. Freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, and freshman catcher, Darius Troche, each had doubles in the loss.
Brookdale (26-18) hosts a double-header against the Union County College Owls on Monday, May 2nd, beginning at 2:00pm.
