Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues ended their game in seven innings after a plethora of hits to beat the RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes in a 19-5 conference win.
Freshman right fielder, Alex Ungar, supplied six huge RBI's from his 3-3 at bats, including two triples. Not far behind Ungar, was freshman third baseman, Nicholas Papageorge, hitting 1000% for two homeruns and four RBI's. Freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, and sophomore left fielder, Larry Citrola, each went 3-3, had a homerun, and produced three RBI's each. Freshman pitcher, Brendan Williams (6-3), notched another win as he pitched 6.2 innings, struck out 11, and allowed only two earned runs.
The Blues will continue their series with game two and three on the road to RCSJ - Cumberland on, Saturday, April 30th, at 12:0pm.
