Brookdale Gets Swept By #1 Nationally Ranked RCSJ-Gloucester
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball had a tough time getting a rally going as they were swept by #1 nationally ranked, Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester. The Roadrunners were merciless, winning all three games in two days, 17-7, 8-0, and 14-3.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale baseball had a tough time getting a rally going as they were swept by #1 nationally ranked, Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester. The Roadrunners were merciless, winning all three games in two days, 17-7, 8-0, and 14-3.
In the 8-0 first game shut out of the double-header, the Blues produced just four hits. The hits were supplied by freshman, Christian Bauman (centerfield), Marcus Johnson (infield), John Wade (first base), and Larry Citrola (DH).
The hits doubled in game two, but not enough for the 14-3 loss. Freshman utility player, Janai Vaughan, banked his second homer in two days, finishing with two RBI's, and freshman right fielder, Alex Ungar, added a hit and a sac fly for an RBI.
The Jersey Blues wil remain home to host the #8 nationally ranked, Northampton Community College Spartans, on Wednesday, April 27th, at 3:30pm.
