Sewell, NJ - The Blues struggled to get their bats up and running against the #1 nationally ranked, 32-5, RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, in a 17-7 loss.
Brookdale freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, batted 3-4, adding his 5th homerun in the books for two RBI's, and freshman outfielder, Janai Vaughn, smashed his first homerun of the year in the fight. Freshman right fielder, Alex Ungar, hit his 9th double in 2022 for an RBI, as sophomore third baseman, Matthew Granato, and freshman infielder, Marcus Johnson added hits and an RBI a piece in the tough loss.
Brookdale (23-15) will continue the remainder of their 3-game series against the Roadrunners at home on Saturday, April 23rd, beginning at noon.
