Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues struggled with region competitor, Middlesex College Blue Colts, in their first of a three-game series, losing, 22-11.
Fighting on the offensive side for the Jersey Blues was, sophomore second baseman, Matthew Granato, hitting 3-5, with a homerun and a double to combine for three RBI's and three runs. Freshman utility player, Dominic Granata, smacked a Homer for three RBI's, and freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, combined for two RBI's with his homerun as well. Adding to the RBI list are freshman right fielder, Alex Ungar, and freshman shortstop, Joseph Lomangino, who both hit doubles for their RBI's, as freshman, Matthew Ippolito, and freshman first baseman, John Wade each had one a piece.
Brookdale (22-12) will play their double-header against the Middlesex College Blue Colts to complete their series on Saturday, April 16th, beginning at noon.
