Brookdale Pushes Past The Camden Cougars

Blackwood, NJ - Camden County College had a big second inning, scoring five, but it wasn't enough to get ahead of the Jersey Blues and their rally in the fifth to pull ahead, 10-7.
Freshman, Brendan Williams (5-1), took control of the mound for seven innings, with 11 strikeouts, and two earned runs. Freshman DH, Nicholas Papageorge, was an RBI powerhouse with six, including a homerun, a double, and a run. Freshman center fielder, Christian Bauman, hit 2-3, produced a run, a double, and two RBI's, and freshman right fielder, Alex Ungar, jacked a homer, had a run, and an RBI with his 2-4. Freshman first baseman, John Scrivanic, hit his 12th homerun on the year, earned three runs, and one RBI, with his 1-3 at bats.
Brookdale (17-8) will be in Lincroft, NJ, for their double-header and conclude their three-game series against the Camden CC Cougars on Saturday, April 2nd, at 12:00pm.
