Blues Add Another Two Wins To Their Spring Training Schedule
Winter Haven, FL - Brookdale baseball added another two wins to their spring training schedule by beating the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves, 11-8, and 12-2. Freshman relief pitcher, John Wade (1-0), earned the win for the Blues to kick things off in game one.

Winter Haven, FL - Brookdale baseball added another two wins to their spring training record by beating the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves, 11-8, and 12-2. Freshman relief pitcher, John Wade (1-0), earned the win for the Blues to kick things off in game one.
Freshman centerfielder, Christian Bauman, went 2-5 on the afternoon, including a triple, while adding two runs, and an RBI. Sophomore second baseman, Matthew Granato, belted two doubles and had two runs with his 3-3 turns at bat. Freshman catcher, Darius Troche, also had a run and brought in two RBI's.
In game two, freshman pitcher, Robert Salvatore (1-1), got the win in five innings with six strikeouts on the bump. Freshman infielder, Marcus Johnson (2-2), drove in a run and three RBI's, Matthew Granato, went 3-3 again for two runs, and two RBI's with a double, and freshman third baseman, Nicholas Papageorge, hit 1-3, producing a run, and two RBI's.
Brookdale will face the Herkimer College Generals on Thursday, March 17th, 10:00am, at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park, in Auburndale, FL.
