The Blues grabbed the win in the first game, 14-4, with freshman pitcher, Ryan Devanney (1-0) on the mound, pitching three innings with four strikeouts. The second game was a high scoring 15-10 final loss for the Blues.

The Blues grabbed the win in the first game, 14-4, with freshman pitcher, Ryan Devanney (1-0) on the mound, pitching three innings with four strikeouts. The second game was a high scoring 15-10 final loss for the Blues.
Freshman first baseman, John Scrivanic, was clutch in both games, and in game one he punched two homeruns, had four runs, and five RBI's in his 3-4 shows at the plate. Freshman centerfielder, Christian Bauman, went 1-2 including a homerun, with two runs, and two RBI's. Freshman DH, John Wade, had a run, and knocked in two RBI's, with his 3-4 at bats. Freshman third baseman, Nicholas Papageorge, hit 1-4, adding a run while pushing in two RBI's, including two doubles, and snatching a stolen base. Freshman infielder, Marcus Johnson, contributed two doubles and a stolen base for two runs with his 2-4 appearances at bat.
In the 15-10 loss in game two, John Scrivanic, put up four RBI's, adding a run with his homer and SAC fly on his 1-3 at bats. Sophomore DH, Danny Santana, batted 2-4, had two runs, and three RBI's, including a double. Sophomore infielder, Matthew Granato, and freshman centerfielder, Christian Bauman, each went 2-3, had three runs a piece, and three walks between them. Granato added a double into his rotation.
The Jersey Blues will be playing the SUNY Adirondack Community College Timberwolves on Tuesday, March 15th, at the Chain O' Lakes field in Winter Haven, FL.
