Paramus, NJ - Jersey Blues baseball earned their first conference win on the road against the Bergen Community College Bulldogs, tipping off the first of their three-game series, 5-4.
In game one, sophomore pitcher, Brenden Williams (2-0), threw a solid 7-inning winning game with 14 strikeouts, and freshman Sean McWalters, earned his first save. Sophomore second baseman, Matthew Granato, went 2-4 with two runs, a double, and an RBI. Freshman third baseman, Nicholas Papageorge, hit 1-4 for three RBI's, and freshman catcher, Darius Troche, knocked in two runs on his 2-4 day, including a double.
The Blues (3-0) continue their series with the Bulldogs for a double-header on Brookdale campus on Saturday, March 5th, beginning at noon.
