Baseball's Citrola Headed To Lynn University

Lincroft, NJ - Jersey Blues baseball standout, Larry Citrola (Northport High School, NY), is headed to Boca Raton, FL, to play for the DII Lynn University Fighting Knights starting in the fall of 2022.

The outfielder/right-handed pitcher, Citrola, joined the Jersey Blues in 2021 during the modified Covid-19 season. He appeared in 13 games, made a brief debut on the mound with 11 strikeouts, and had a fielding percentage of 1.000. At bat, he averaged .257, had nine hits, five runs, one stolen base and an RBI. 

Lynn University, located in Boca Raton, FL, is a four-year institution who compete in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports and are menbers of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC).
